An esteemed Russian general has been declared dead following an detonation in Moscow, according to reports from authorities.
The incident happened on Monday morning when an IED placed beneath a vehicle was set off, leading to the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov.
Sarvarov served as the head of the armed forces' unit responsible for operational readiness.
