Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Charges Against 38 Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician has been charged with performing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.
A deputy chief CPS official said, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Investigation
The charges come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January.

- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
