Isak Makes Comeback

The Liverpool striker, who hasn't featured from 22 October because of a groin problem, was selected to play in World Cup qualifying games against Switzerland (November 15th) and Slovenia (18 November)

Potter's Appointment

Potter was appointed the Swedish federation originally for an interim period in late October, less than a month following leaving by the Hammers

Previous coach Jon Dahl Tomasson was fired after Sweden's defeat against Kosovo on 13 October, an outcome that ended direct progression in Group B impossible

Present Standing

The Swedish team find themselves bottom of Group B having only a single point from their opening four games

Even if they fail to finish second, they could still be involved in the qualification playoffs as a result of their results in the most recent UEFA competition
