The Comedy Series Brassic Ends Its Run with Influenced by Tarantino Finale
The creators Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are wrapping up on their humorous show about a tight-knit bunch of endearing rogues causing chaos in a rural Lancashire town. One could anticipate the finale to be a nostalgic highlight reel of booze, drugs and cheeky thievery. However, the atmosphere turns much more somber as Vinnie (Gilgun) and the gang hole up in a pub with criminal figure Davey MacDonagh for a final 50th installment seemingly influenced by the filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.

The journey has been lengthy. Yet the penultimate episode of this initially sluggish but ultimately compelling phone-hacking drama sees Nick, portrayed by David Tennant discovering details about the News of the World’s conduct that the other media outlets simply are forced to acknowledge. Things are also looking up for Dave, who has a surprising new ally.
